An Englishman in love with Bucharest's blowsy charms
Oh, come on, now. And I suppose the losers will go out and buy armbands to wear as hunted minorities. Don't you get the feeling that vicitimization is not the exclusive province of the left?
Retweeted Hillary PR Team (@OnMessageForHer):In Trump's America, women hide by day and at night scavenge for scraps in the moonlight, always alert for approaching redhat death squads.
Yes now you are the Evil Empire and we are the rebel alliance.. again.
Just a quick check and someone claims that this ia a parody account. Should we consign it to the humor category? At least it is more fun than sifting the embers of the Reichstag.
A funny parody unlike the Mash, the Onion, etc.
This from Tim Stanley is true."His wafer-thin victory was a personal vindication. After all these years of being told that he was out-of-touch, offensive, absurd, he had shown that Donald J Trump understands the mood of Americans better than anyone else.Farage and Trump grasp that the world changed long ago and it’s only now that politics is catching up. The West has been through the Iraq War, mass migration, the decline of manufacturing and the credit crunch. Its leaders, like Cameron and Clinton, offered liberal solutions spun with soundbites. They were metropolitan, unreal. Trump and Farage, by contrast, are authentic manifestations of national character. Trump is what you’d get if you gave an American truck driver a billion dollars – he’d paint his house gold. I could sooner see Trump persuading the truck driver to take a second mortgage on his house to finance its painting, while pocketing the billion. Then, when the housing market collapses, Trump seizing the house, leaving the driver to live in his truck, if it hasn't already been repossessed.
Adrian Horotan, who supports the Democrats, told me that he can see both sides of political debate whereas for most Americans their party is a sort of religion and cannot be questioned. This was enlightening, as are many things he says. But I do not understand the US parties since they are not, like ours in the UK, based on class and the Democrats are not in theory socialists. I suppose they are comparable with Liberals and Conservatives in UK before 1918, though they were much more class based.Trump is in some respects an old fashioned right-wing Democrat. Maybe he'll create a new New Deal? The old one was copy pasted from Hoover. http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/11/donald-trump-voters-pennsylvania-blue-collar-214466?cmpid=sf&utm_content=bufferef353&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
