Right-wing women are sexier than left-wing ones

SHARE
A study has found that attractive people have a tendency to be more right-wing.

I think everyone has noticed that sexy women tend to be more right wing than plain ones. Partly because they have a vested interest in status quo. Partly because they mix with richer men than poor girls. Partly because right wing is intrinsically sexy - as are brains, which right wing people usually have more of.

I don't mean you have to be stupid to be left-wing, but that being conservative means thinking for yourself.

Do you think that's always been true?

And are right-wing men sexier than left-wing men?

I imagine that in both cases feminists tend to skew the results. Feminists have always tended to be plain (and that's being very charitable) and male feminists are just creepy.

  2. When you mention male feminists I think of George Meredith. I read one of his books but I never saw his picture.

Some feminists can be very pretty and even feminine. Upper class girls are pretty unusual among English women in being as womanly as European women.

  3. But there is no longer very much correlation in England between social class.and political ideas. There are feminist upper class women and anti feminist ones and women at all points in between.

Until a few decades ago communism in England seemed to be mostly an upper-class thing. Belief in patriotism, traditional values, family life and general decency seem to have been despised as things that were only for the Great Unwashed.

Communism is now dead and buried but I get the impression that the upper classes have now embraced globalism and Social Justice while what's left of the working seems too demoralised to believe in anything.

Feminism will naturally appeal to upper-class women since they're the only ones who benefit from it.

  5. Let's stop deluding ourselves that women find intelligence sexy. Intelligence might be an asset, but a very unimportant one, much less vital than height, wealth, social status, skin color, voice tone, penis size, jaw bone formation, and a number of other infinitely more important attraction traits.

  6. Women find power sexy and intelligence is power - but women have told me 'girls don't like erudite men' and Virginia Woolf well said that neither a duchess not a chambermaid likes a scholar.

  7. I fail to see how intelligence is correlated with power. In social interactions, it's rare for most people to follow the most intelligent person in the room. One of the dumber elements - who happens to appear more confident, louder, and perhaps a little clever (in a transparent way) - tends to impose his view and capture the attention. The intelligent ones are either followers or just end up zoning out. Much of the time, intelligence holds people back from acting or even speaking confidently and taking charge - the Dunning–Kruger effect in action.
