I came across the clip because an American pseudo-conservative called Ben Shapiro retweeted this as evidence that Sachs is not a patriotic American. Sachs is the best sort of patriot, not in any way a stooge of China or Russia. On the other hand, BS is a fervent Zionist and therefore his love of the USA does not prevent him being devoted to another Asian country.

I advise you, gentle reader, to listen to Professor Sachs on all subjects. That's even more worthwhile than reading Christopher Caldwell or watching Professor John Mearsheimer (honourable mentions to Peter Hitchens and Arnaud Bertrand).
