They will defeat ISIS and when that happens, the Assad regime can be dealt with.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-891289711377156224.post-64304172293809586382016-02-29T18:17:13.439+02:002016-02-29T18:17:13.439+02:00Interesting article that reminds us that Turkey is...Interesting article that reminds us that Turkey is a useful and important NATO ally - and right about Iraq and Libya. http://gu.com/p/4h68x/stwPolitical Refugee from the Global Villagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03523068770529814044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-891289711377156224.post-78555938270650668522016-02-27T21:37:55.230+02:002016-02-27T21:37:55.230+02:00Terrible. But does this mean things in Syria would be better if the regime were defeated and, more importantly, does it mean the UK and USA should try to remove the Syrian regime? Is it our business? I think our business should simply be to help stop the war.Political Refugee from the Global Villagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03523068770529814044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-891289711377156224.post-33351976644698204232016-02-27T20:41:24.672+02:002016-02-27T20:41:24.672+02:00Assad and Putin were bombing hospitals right up to...Assad and Putin were bombing hospitals right up to the ceasefire last night, as well as schools and refugee camps.TheTall one at the backhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11183163546412859770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-891289711377156224.post-65745051351445494452016-02-26T22:18:31.002+02:002016-02-26T22:18:31.002+02:00"Both are responsible for civilian deaths in ..."Both are responsible for civilian deaths in Syria."
Good thing that Putin & Assad don't bomb weddings and hospitals as Obama likes to do, or the situation would be much worse indeed.
Yrkelo Volrand
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-891289711377156224.post-85449240765922793102016-02-25T08:58:33.285+02:002016-02-25T08:58:33.285+02:00Good piece. Even Istanbul, that anarchic city par excellence, is showing signs of this. I remember visiting a couple of years ago during the “tulip festival”, and found much of the flower displays reminiscent of what a communist regime may have put on in Eastern Europe pre-1989..
