Jake Wallace Simons is wrong when he says no former Israeli intelligence officer says Epstein was Mossad. At least one former Israeli Intelligence Officer, Ari Ben-Menashe, has repeatedly done so but is not reported in the papers. 

Why not?

He said for years that he knew Epstein from when they were in Mossad. 

He also says that Israel blackmails US presidents. 

Now he says ‘Calling Jeffrey Epstein a Russian or a Soviet agent is NONSENSE. I’m sure the Israelis are putting it out that he’s a Russian agent.’

The Telegraph always sounds like MI6 and Israeli propaganda.

But Jake Simons is right that Epstein wasn't a spy exactly but something different. He was a geopolitical player of some importance according to Alastair Crooke, and certainly he considered that he worked in the interests of Israel not America or Russia.

How long will the Mandelson scandal continue in the Ukay? 

Until Sir K. Starmer resigns, which he may well and good riddance, or something else happens.

Mandy was a good choice for Ambassador to Washington, did a good job and not dropping an old friend who went to prison is not something bad, but you'd think it was. 

What came out in the emails - giving Epstein market sensitive information - is very bad indeed.

Why won't any Americans be damaged by the Epstein emails?

The Mandy scandal will keep the Epstein one going though it may distract from the point of the Epstein scandal, which is Israel. Anything that keeps Epstein in the news is good at this stage.

The media's lack of curiosity is the big story

Instead of pushing conspiracy theories about Epstein being a Russian agent the media might investigate whether the disgraced "Lord" Mandelson and his protegé Starmer's Chief of Staff Morgan McSweeney have kompromat on Labour colleagues and whether the way they use it is legal. 

Both have aways been dedicated to Israel and MM got Starmer to expel Labour MPs whose only offence was hostility to Israel.

This is an interesting story but the media are sublimely indifferent. 

It would be different if the pair were linked to Russia or China.... or to Donald Trump or Viktor Orban.

Epstein is always described as a paedophile. I have absolutely no wish to palliate his offences and interfering with adolescents by older men does lifelong harm to the victims but the word paedophile is misused.

Obviously, the USA and UK should never have invaded Iraq. They should have launched a short punitive expedition into Afghanistan in 2001, restored the monarchy and then allowed the Taliban to come back. Nation-building was always (a liberal) folly: Afghanistan and Iraq were not post-war Germany, as should have been clear.

But having broken it, as Colin Powell warned, the USA bought Iraq. Leaving it alone led to ISIS. So what is the solution?

I don't know. Unfortunately, the USA may now back the Israeli-Saudi-Sunni alliance against the Shia crescent (Iran, Syria, Hezbollah). I hope Mr. Trump resists this temptation.

Almost all the terrorist atrocities against Western Europe and the USA are committed by Sunnis, yet we are constantly told that Iran, which is fighting ISIS and Al Qaeda, is the great threat. Why?

Things I said for years that sounded crazy but are now obvious

Iran is not a threat to the West. America is. The UK, US and Europe have no interests in Asia, east or west. Europe's huge defence threat is illegal immigrants not state actors. Israel got on fine with the Ayatollah Khomeini’s Iran

The Ayatollah Khomeini’s former president and close friend, Bani Sad says in this clip that Khomeini issued a secret fatwa authorizing buying weapons from Israel. As a result, 80% of Khomeini’s weapons came from Israel.

Israel got on fine with Iran until it the early 1990s when it chose to pretend Iran was a threat. It did so to get American support to continue because the end of the Cold War meant the US no longer had a strategic interest in supporting Israel. The Israelis then believed their own propaganda.

The media protect Israel and vilify Russia, China and Iran - the Daily Telegraph is an extreme example of a general trend

The files show that Epstein worked for Israel but the mainstream media avoided discussing this like Victorian maiden aunts avoided talk about indecent topics. They are now being forced to in England. According to Cenk, not in the USA.

Epstein and Gaza are the news stories that transform the world. This is why the media work very hard to suppress both but they have, mercifully, partly failed.

By backing Israel's actions in Gaza the West has lost all its moral authority. It did have quite a lot, despite Iraq, Libya, Syria and the rest.

And moral authority matters even if it's partly or largely rests on deceit.

Epstein lifts a little corner of the veil that hides how the world works. Can Israel's support in the USA survive Epstein and Gaza? 

Yes certainly but perhaps not indefinitely.

The BBC and the left-of-centre papers like the Guardian also push the UK's official line. Jonathan Cook explains interestingly here how 'The BBC pushes the case for an illegal war on Iran with even bigger lies than Trump’s'.

This media disinformation is why people don't know that the failed revolution in Iran was a CIA Mossad operation and the 2014 revolution in Kiev was largely CIA too.

The Hannibal Directive. Israelis have said that some Israelis were killed by the IDF on 7 October 2023 but not how many.

The Hannibal Doctrine, which Israel admits was at one time its policy, requires the IDF to kill Israelis rather than let them be taken prisoner. I learnt about it from Gilad Atzmon on Facebook on October 7, 2023 but it was not mentioned at all in the Western media for more than a year afterwards and then it was mentioned in passing.
