Angela Merkel and climate change fears have made Europe dependent on Russian gas

Thankfully a fire broke out not in the power station itself at Zaporizhzhia but at a 'training building'. The world is not looking at a disastrous  event like Chernobyl or Fukushima.

I said long ago that Angela Merkel was the worst German leader since Hitler, not forgetting Ulbricht and Honecker. I see she is very much worse than we realised because she closed down power stations and made Germany dependent on Russian gas. 

Another huge problem is that Europe no longer produces enough gas because of ecologists. Fifteen years ago Europe exported more gas than Russia does today.

Frau Merkel and the Greens are the guilty men and women but even more so are George W Bush and his people, who said Georgia and Ukraine could be considered for membership of Nato.
