"The suburbs that burned are precisely the ones that the French state has invested more than 30 billion euros in "improving" over the past 20 years. The result has been the creation of a whole generation of "assisted" people whose ethnic and/or religious backgrounds are treated as heirlooms to justify government handout in various guises".

The Didache is the oldest Christian text that is not part of the Bible. It may date from 75 AD and contain text copied from an earlier period. Pederasty means a sexual relationship between an older man and a youth who has at least reached puberty and could be a young man in his twenties. Pederasty had always been considered very respectable before Christians condemned it, except by Jews.

DeleteThe Didache means the Teachings and is the oldest of the Christian writings by the 'Apostolic Fathers', some of whom had known the apostles. It was quoted in the Roman era considered part of the Bible by some but in the end rejected. It was lost until 1873. It is the oldest written Christian catechism. The fasts it requires on Wednesdays and Fridays are still observed in the Eastern Church. I know this as I go to the Greek Catholic liturgy.
