Pope Francis

"That was a tough 12 years, not gonna lie."
Fred Simon

Francis asked a boy praying with his hands together “Are your hands bound together?” After he left, the boy went back to praying as before.

“The first 10 years of Pope Francis's pontificate are one of the darkest chapters in the history of the post-Reformation Catholic Church.” Damian Thompsonformer editor of the Catholic Herald, March 13, 2023

"Francis revels in confusion. It's confusion that seems to benefit liberals, but he won't quite say what they're desperate to hear. It's a mixture of nudge-nudge, wink-wink and plausible deniability. This would make him a terrible pope even if he weren't protecting sex abusers. Which he is. Shamelessly and now dangerously." Damian Thompson

"At times, Francis intuited the managerial temptation. In one of his early speeches, Francis declared, “If we do not confess to Christ, what would we be? We would end up a compassionate NGO.” But Francis, despite his obvious desire to confess Christ, succumbed to that temptation. Prioritizing media over message muted the Catholic witness. The world saw not a sign of contradiction, but someone who wanted the Church to become a little more like the world."
Nathan Pinkoski, Pope Francis’s Managerial Revolution

“No Catholic is obliged to obey doctrine that is wrong. Catholicism is not about blindly obeying the Pope without respecting holy scriptures, tradition and the doctrine of the Church.”
Cardinal Muller

"We encounter a general impression of weariness and aging, of a Europe that is now a 'grandmother,' no longer fertile and vibrant." Pope Francis speaking to the European Parliament in 2014

“A couple taking a selfie in front of the Pope's body - I think this image sums up well the rotten society in which we live.”

What the media isn't telling you about what Francis actually did since 2013.
    - He criticized large Catholic families who 'breed like rabbits.'
    - Backed the Paris Climate Accords, which calls for wider availability of contraceptives.
    - Created a scandalous list of 'sins against creation.'
    - Allowed the Vatican to host conferences that featured depopulation experts and liberal US politicians.
    - Elevated the profile of notorious pro-LGBT Jesuit James Martin.
    - Infamously said 'who am I to judge?' when asked about homosexuals.
    - Appointed Theodore McCarrick's proteges to prominent positions in the US.
    - Told Episcopal clergyman Tony Palmer he was his 'brother-bishop' and that he should not become Catholic because 'the Church needs bridge builders.'
    - Referred to Antje Jackelén, the head of the Lutheran Church of Sweden, as his 'esteemed sister.'
    - Mocked young priests who like the Latin Mass.
    - Relentlessly belittled Traditional Catholics as 'backwards,' 'rigid,' and - perhaps most famous of all - 'self-absorbed promethean neo-Pelagians.'
    - Told an atheist journalist that 'sinful souls are not punished' and instead 'simply disappear.'
    - Ushered in synodality,
