Ukraine's future looks very dark

Chas Freeman who was US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and has the mind of a first class history don, talking to Pascal Lottez on the latter's YouTube channel Neutrality Studies. 

I highly recommend the Ambassador and Neutrality Studies, which was not long ago shut down by YouTube for a wholly specious reason (sending spam) but returned. Our rulers do not like to be criticised and the channel may disappear in the future.

    Everyone said defeat was inevitable for Ukraine four years ago.

    Grozny and Chechnya were a small part of Russia, although a part with aspirations to break away. Ukraine is a sovereign nation, far larger than poor Chechnya, and it will be a tougher challenge for Russia to level level it Grozny-style.

    I think Russia has limited civilian casualties in Ukraine hard to believe though people may find it and I can't see why she should change now.
