In Italy, 27.4% of the population most vulnerable to Covid 19 lives with young people, and in Spain it's as many as 33.5%. The figure for Germany is 7%. I wonder what the figure is for the UK? Is there a connection between housing shortages and the devastation caused by Covid 19?— Ben Irvine (@BenIrvineAuthor) March 29, 2020
This may be why Italy and Spain are in grave trouble. In Sweden there are (I was shocked to learn) almost no families in which three generations live together and virtually no mothers who stay at home with their children. Sweden has no lockdown and so far 110 deaths.
