Foreign states putting propaganda on Wikipedia

Obviously the CIA and MI6 largely control Wikipedia from behind the scene. 

You knew that. 

M16 took control of the British press in 1939 and has never let go.

The Russian government uses social media extensively for propaganda, as we are constantly told by the people who do so even more extensively. 

Israel too is no slouch. 

Former Israeli Prime minister Naftali Bennett said on video that he trains teams of Israelis to edit Wikipedia "to ensure that it's balanced and Zionist in nature".

An American Steven Pruitt has edited at least one third of English Wikipedia and written written 35,000 articles. 

Time magazine named him one of the top 25 most influential people on the internet, alongside President Trump, J.K. Rowling and Kim Kardashian.

He does this in his spare time (his day job is as a researcher) and he might be a simple volunteer. 

He has worked for several US agencies or contractors and has several US security clearances, but this does not prove he is working for the government.

Wikipedia has a long list of conservative news sources which are not to be used for Wikipedia entries. 

Elon Musk has announced he is building a Grokopedia to give a better source of information.

These are suggestions posted on X two days ago by the co-founder of Wikipedia who has long complained about its political bias and unreliability.
