Why is the BBC trying to make us care about a downed American airman?

 

The answer to my question is that this is manipulation of public opinion to make people think that this is our war, Iranians are not important and Americans are us.

The BBC is our equivalent of RT. No Western journalist wanted a war with Iran, all can see it is a mistake and barbarous, all see that it is manifestly illegal but all fall in by instinct behind the British deep state/MI6/CIA line.

The media play a vital role in inciting and supporting wars from the Boer war onwards or long before.

I saw this somewhere and despite the profanity could not forbear to share it on my hitherto chaste blog.

The New York Times is now describing Iran's very normal acts of self-defense - shooting down American jets that are BOMBING THEIR FUCKING COUNTRY - as an "escalation from Iran's leadership."
