Free speech so long as what you say is kind

Mrs Margaret Nelson is a 74-year-old woman, living in a village in Suffolk, who on Monday morning was woken by a telephone call from Suffolk police. The policeman wanted to speak to Mrs Nelson because the police had received complaints that she had argued that sex is real but gender is not on her Twitter account and her blog.

Can't be precise, sorry. The call woke me up, I wasn't fully awake and didn't take notes. It's @SuffolkPolice.
Hi Margaret, we had a number of people contact us on social media about the comments made online. A follow-up call was made for no other reason than to raise awareness of the complaints. Kind regards, Web Team.

This is just one example of something that happens all the time in England now and Scotland is probably worse. Google to find more cases, if you feel so inclined.

  1. Seen on the net: “If an obvious man, even if he claims to self-identify as a woman, walks into the ladies room after my wife or daughter, I will self-identify as the tooth fairy and hand him all his teeth.”

  2. Britain is a full-blown soft totalitarianism. Brexit is not going to fix stuff like this. In fact Europe is probably better off being insulated from the madness of the UK.

Fortunately there is going to be a religious revival in Britain. It will be Islamic, but at least it will be religious. Better Islam than cultural marxism.

Social conservatives will have to choose sides - either they choose to defend the core values of British society (sodomy, slut culture, feminism and the whole cultural marxist package) against Islam, or they choose to ally with Muslims to clean up the degeneracy.

Britain is so far gone that all the more attractive options are no longer viable.

  3. Hi Margaret! How dare the police 'web team' address a 74 year old lady whom they had not met by her Christian name? Or even if they had met her. She should be M'am to them.
