Had Rabin lived, could the present toxic crisis in Gaza have been avoided?

I have been a news addict since I was a little boy but always bored to tears by the Arab Israeli dispute until October 7, when I read up on what Netanyahu had done since he came to power and took a side for the first time.

I WAS very interested in Syria, a country I know and love. 

Following the war in Syria I learn that the mainstream media repeated falsehoods. I gave up on the pro Western media. 

Only left-wingers like Patrick Cockburn were reliable because they opposed America and did not buy the CIA/MI6 FCO/State Department line.
