As someone who has been vocal against mass immigration and warning about it far before it was popular to do so, with actual reporting on the ground - I’m fed up of the right-wing focusing on this issue alone. If all illegal migrants were deported tomorrow, Europe would still be dying and headed towards demographic collapse. Immigration is a symptom of a much deeper malaise, the immediate one is the cost of living crisis for Europeans, which makes them unable to have families and the general spiritual nihilism and defeatism that comes with it. Right-wingers have cognitive dissonance; they refuse to acknowledge the economic plight of the ordinary people they claim to represent. Most citizens feel unrepresented by progressives on immigration and unrepresented by conservatives on the economy.
