Lord Ricketts in the time of Messrs Blair and Brown was Permanent Secretary for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Criticising the US National Security Strategy (that was published on November 30, 2025) he said "there will be no stability in Europe if Russian aggression is rewarded". I think he means there will be no stability if Russian gains are recognised de facto.
Why not?
What about the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus?
What about Goa?
