Defense contractors & their powerful lobby will never be satisfied with simply aiding the U.S. in building a strong military that is prepared for war. 

The nature of the industry’s existence is not patriotism, but endless conflict. War is their business model—a perpetual state of war ensures a perpetual demand for their products. 

Until we address this issue, we will continue to be subjected to forever wars that only serve the defense contractors—and the warmongering interests wealthy enough to rent the defense contractors.

Stop spilling American blood for profit. 

Here's a germane Substack piece by Pelle Taylor. I too think the war-mongering of the media is something very frightful and very reminiscent of the world immediately before 1914. The Telegraph and the Times in London are exceptionally bad all the mainstream media are the same. I don't really understand why. The mainstream centre-left is particularly warlike about Ukraine. I do know in general why; the papers have a very cosy relationship with MI6 and the British Foreign Office. But why don't journalists stop and use their brains?
