What they said

“I had propagandists all over the world. We pumped dozens of stories about Cuban atrocities, Cuban rapists [to the media]… We ran [faked] photographs that made almost every newspaper in the country … We didn’t know of one single atrocity committed by the Cubans. It was pure, raw, false propaganda to create an illusion of communists eating babies for breakfast.” John Stockwell ex-CIA man and author of In Search of Enemies, in which he described the dissemination of propaganda as a “major function” of the agency.

The stories from Iran we read today are from NED which is a CIA front, including absurd stories about the Iranians machine gunning harmless people. It's the CIA and MI6 we should be scared of, not Iran.

"It is sad to read these Soviet statements--to realize the extent of the gulf between us. But it is also a warning--a warning to the American people not to fall into the same trap as the Soviets, not to see only a distorted and desperate view of the other side, not to see conflict as inevitable, accommodation as impossible, and communication as nothing more than an exchange of threats." John F Kennedy in 1963 in his 'peace speech' in which he proposed a hotline.

“We are going to break China… remove Xi… America the global hegemon for 100 years.” Steve Bannon, whom I have gone off, in email to Jeffrey Epstein in 2017.

"An iron curtain that splits Europe from Russia will be suicide; ordinary citizens don't want this but their voices aren't heard anyway."
Ian Proud, formerly a senior British diplomat stationed in Moscow
