Try seeing Ukraine as a second attempt by the people who brought you Iraq. Instead of ‘Fascist Saddam has WMD!!!’ you have ‘Nazi Putin’s going to invade Poland then march to Paris!!!’
Peter Hitchens
Imagine the strongest member of the Triple Alliance (Germany) told Austria Hungary they wouldn’t go to War over Franz Ferdinand or the Triple Entente (France) ditto to Russia - how many lives would have been saved from WW1 and 2 and the Bolsheviks?

The immigrant population of Britain is 3x higher now than it would have otherwise been due to the Blairite ascendency. Had immigration after 1997 had remained at pre 1997 levels, the immigrant population would be 4 million, rather than 12 million. The Blairite revolution, with its Human Rights law, activist judges and open borders, has been a cataclysm for the country. We need a Restoration against the Leftism Revolution

To grasp how disastrous the Blairite ascendency in Britain has been since 1997, UK per capita GDP today would be 20 percent higher if economic growth since 1997 had continued on the 1979 - 1997 trajectory. The high tax / high regulation / high spend / monetary stimulus model has sapped the country's dynamism and cohesion.
