    'If you believe the doctors, nothing is wholesome; if you believe the theologians, nothing is innocent; if you believe the military, nothing is safe.' Actually theologians now think things innocent that were grave sins and vice versa, but true about soldiers and doctors, especially soldiers.

    Was the PRftGV horribly abused at Eton? He comes across as extremely pessimistic.
