What I think might be happening is an increasingly less human world in which people become numbers and are reduced to statistics, to data, and to, above all else, one thing: shopping. Plastic surgery is part of this dehumanising. So are abortion and gender reassignment. Is it the logical culmination of classical liberalism?
If men faced unwanted pregnancy and its threats to their plans for career advancement, travel, and additional sexual activity, they’d abort without a second thought and no one would say a word about it.
