An employee of Paragon Solutions shared a photograph of their Graphite spyware in action to her LinkedIn profile earlier this week. The post has since been deleted.
Reut Yamen serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at cyber surveillance firm Paragon Solutions.
Paragon was founded in 2019 by several former Israeli intelligence officers including Ehud Schneorson, former commander of Unit 8200, Israel’s NSA equivalent, and former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak.
The post was first noticed and shared on Twitter by Jurre van Bergen, a technologist and researcher who closely follows the use and proliferation of spyware worldwide.
The image likely shows a demonstration version of Graphite’s user interface, with a phone number from Czechia. The operator can browse messages captured from the target on multiple platforms, including WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Line, and TikTok.
An in-depth investigation last year by @thecitizenlab revealed that dozens of journalists and private citizens in Italy were targeted in 2024 with Graphite via WhatsApp using a ‘zero-click’ exploit (slide 7). Other instances of Graphite usage were documented worldwide.

Paragon Solutions has past and/or current contracts with US government agencies including the Drug Enforcement Administration and US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
