Sic transit Nikki

I am glad Nikki Hayley has resigned as U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. She was in the George W. Bush mould and eager for U.S. involvement in the Middle East. The BBC says she received nationwide praise for removing Confederate statues from the South Carolinan capitol. Nationwide from some people but those were brave men who fought for what they considered their country.

Of course, Nikki is much less objectionable than Ivanka who thankfully will not replace her.

  1. She's not a Christian. She's faking it.

What exactly do you think Haley is faking?

    Quoting from Wiki:

"Haley was born Nimrata Randhawa in Bamberg, South Carolina, to an Indian American Sikh family.

In September 1996, Haley married Michael Haley with both Sikh and Methodist ceremonies.[147] Haley identifies herself today as a Christian, but attends both Sikh and Methodist worship services. She made a pilgrimage to the Harmandir Sahib with her husband in 2014 during her visit to India."

From the above, she seems to openly respect her parents religious background and celebrate her adopted faith.

    1. Anon thinks she is not really a Christian. We cannot open a window into her heart.

    2. I imagine attending Sikh services regularly would be proof in some eyes that she is not. Though to some Vatican II types it would be fine. I sometimes wonder if we take this peace between the world's religions too far.
