Climbing over dead bodies to the top: Sara Thornton is made 'Anti-Slavery Tsar'

SHARE
Theresa May has made Sara Thornton her 'Anti-Slavery Tsar' charged with leading the fight against slavery and sex trafficking across the UK.

Miss Thornton was chief constable of Thames Valley police when the force failed for years to believe the evidence that up to 373 children, mostly girls, were sexually abused by a Pakistani Muslim gang in Oxford, city of dreaming spires. She later apologised and accepted responsibility.

She may well even consider herself a feminist, like Mrs May whose 'tsar' she will be.

Is Tsar a position known to the English Constitution? And if so why not Tsarina?

It reminds me that the family of the innocent Brazilian shot dead by Cressida Dick's sharpshooters said she should not be head of the Metropolitan Police, but they were ignored.
